Ohio's only American Revolutionary War fort: Fort Laurens

The Ohio Department of Education proposes to eliminate American history, the American Revolutionary War, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence from Ohio's fifth grade social studies cirriculum. Will focus on Latin and South America.

From Cleveland, Akron, Canton:

South on I-77 to Bolivar Exit 93.
Turn right on 212 west until it dead-ends into Fort Laurens Road.
Turn left on Fort Laurens Road.
Memorial is on left hand side about 1/2 mile down Fort Laurens Road.

From Southeast Ohio:

North on I-77 to Bolivar Exit 93.
Turn left on 212 west until it dead-ends into Fort Laurens Road.
Turn left on Fort Laurens Road.

From Columbus and Central Ohio:

East on I-70 to I-77 north toward Cleveland.
Exit on Bolivar Exit 93.
Turn left on 212 west until it dead-ends into Fort Laurens Road.
Turn left on Fort Laurens Road.
Memorial is on left hand side about 1/2 mile down Fort Laurens Road.

I-270 to St. Route 161 east toward Newark to east State Route 16 toward Coshocton to State Route 36 east toward Newcomerstown to I-77 north toward Cleveland.
North on I-77 to Bolivar Exit 93.
Turn left on 212 west until it dead-ends into Fort Laurens Road.
Turn left on Fort Laurens Road.
Memorial is on left hand side about 1/2 mile down Fort Laurens Road.

From Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio:

Take 71 north toward Columbus to either I-70 east.
Follow directions from Columbus listed above.

Take I-71 north to I-270 east toward Wheeling, WV to I-70 east.
Follow directions from Columbus on I-70 east toward I-77 north.
